"Glad to hear the sickness wasn't as bad as last year. Oh Starclan, that was very horrible. Willowsnap and Mallowmist died, and we almost lost Coalkit, I mean Coalcloud." "It was the first terrible sickness I had to deal with as a full medicine cat." Sunnyleaf added. "I was terrified, and kept wishing Hollowfeather was there. I still remember loosing Aspenclaw..." He trailed off, then shook himself out. "Regardless, we managed to get through this season all right." "That must have been terrible, going through that." The young warrior layer her tail gently on his shoulders comfortingly, the. Whisked it away quickly. "So," she began again. "I hear your clan has been granted two new warriors!" He looked at her, surprised. "Really?" He asked. "Brownspots really thinks that?!" Darkdream blinked twice, convinced there had been a miscommunication. No cat got that excited about another cats who. "I'm sure you've misheard me-I mean to say Brownspots believes he should be made deputy." She hoped it wasn't her making the mistake, and narrowed her eyes ever so slightly to continue watching the Tom. |

Darkdream blinked twice, convinced there had been a miscommunication. No cat got that excited about another cats who. "I'm sure you've misheard me-I mean to say Brownspots believes he should be made deputy." She hoped it wasn't her making the mistake, and narrowed her eyes ever so slightly to continue watching the Tom. "I don't have a full ego!" He protested. Then he tilted his head. "And don't worry, I know that you were meaning to say that...and I agree." He stopped, slightly confused about what had just happened. |

Fleetstar padded over to Riverbreeze. "Hello." He meowed. "Any news in Rainclan?" He asked, studying her intently. (DeMoN is posting on mine to.) Riverbreeze narrowed her eyes, untrusting. "None that I wish to share." She murmured quietly, then she dipped her head as a sign of dismissal, and padded over to the branch. Toxicstar leaped upon the great branch. "It has come time for me to announce a deputy." His bright gaze sweeper the crowd of warriors, queens, elders, and apprentices. "Darkdream will be the new deputy of Winterclan." |

-Darkdream jerked her head up. All this talk of deputies and now it was her? She was sure Batwhisker has this in the bag. She was stunned for a few moments, before feeling pride and her well concealed ambition rising to her mind. She smiled, dipping her head to Toxicstar. "Thank you, Toxicstar, I won't let you down."

Toxicstar let out a small purr. "I know you won't." And with that, the Winterclan leader padded over to Darkdream. "Could you round up our cats? Have them meet me at the two Boulders."

"Congratulations!" Then, after seeing Toxicstar padd over, the medicine cat of Fireclan rested his tail gently on her back, and padded away to his leader, Shatterdstar. |

Shatteredstar coughed, trying to decide if she should correct him on the cause of simply move on. Despite her ideal of not hiding it, she settled on simply moving to the next topic. "So, how have things been going?- well, I know we just heard the leaders but personally speaking." She rasped. Winddust gave a little bob of his head. "I'm doing good. Been a good and prey filled season. What about you?" Then he turned around and spotted Smoketalon. He looked around for his leader. |
