Winddust cleared his throat and padded from beneath the tree. He headed toward the Fireclan leader. "Greetings, Shatterdstar." Shatteredstar looked up as he approached, dipping her head in greeting. "Did in you enjoy the gathering?" She rasped, her voiced faded from its usual volume. |

"Yes," Smoketalon meowed in a far off sounding voice. "Well, he does have to announce it the next gathering, so that would be...tonight." He paused, studyingher. "Who do you think he'll choose?" (You can just make up names.) "Who can tell? Right?" She laughed. But the. Thought for a moment. "If I were leader, though, I think the obvious choice would be Batwhisker or Salmonhunt." "Yes," he replied. "Those two would be good choices...but I would add Brownspots to the list. He's wise and smart. Winterclan could do with a deputy like him." |

Shadowclaw shrugged. "Nothing much." Then he spotted the two new Winterclan warriors. "Please," he muttered. "Excuse me." Then, he trotted over to Sandyflower. "Hey Sandyflower. Congratulations on the new name!" Sandyflower smiled. "Thank you Shadowclaw." |

Blazinghope nodded in agreement. "So, how has Winterclan been faring this Leaf-Fall?" "We've been better than we have in the past." Sunnyleaf purred. "We've had a few minor cases of green-cough, but honestly compared to last year we're pretty well off. What about your clan?" "Stormclan is faring well this leaf-fall. Silverleap wrenched her paw, but that is just about it." Blazinghope eyes strayed to a falling leaf, then her gaze snapped back to Sunnyleaf. "Glad to hear the sickness wasn't as bad as last year. Oh Starclan, that was very horrible. Willowsnap and Mallowmist died, and we almost lost Coalkit, I mean Coalcloud." |

Shatteredstar gave a wispy laugh, only extenuating the broken voice. "I'm fine, thank you." She purred. "We had a new warrior ceremony, and now the gathering, my voice can't take the long speeches so well." She explained, coughing a bit to get a clearer sound. |

Shatteredstar coughed, trying to decide if she should correct him on the cause of simply move on. Despite her ideal of not hiding it, she settled on simply moving to the next topic. "So, how have things been going?- well, I know we just heard the leaders but personally speaking." She rasped.

Darkdream blinked twice, convinced there had been a miscommunication. No cat got that excited about another cats who. "I'm sure you've misheard me-I mean to say Brownspots believes he should be made deputy." She hoped it wasn't her making the mistake, and narrowed her eyes ever so slightly to continue watching the Tom. |
