Shadowclaw nodded. "Alright, then. Firebreeze said there was lots of prey over by the border." So,mother the black tom began the long bound to the border where there was a small patch of woods.

Snowpaw took off after him, making sure to keep beside him and bound along easily, his stronger muscled taking the fast pace and occasional jump easily. Skypaw lagged further behind, for not nearly trying as hard and for being less adept at stamina equally.

Shadowclaw suddenly paused, and he scampered to a halt. "See the squirrel over their, Snowpaw? " he asked, and invited him to try and catch it. Then, still breathing heavily, stopped beside Skypaw, stroked his tail gently on his shoulders for a moment to help him catch his breath.

Skypaw glanced up at Shadowclaw and crouched down a bit, both him and his brothers pelts more than conspicuous. Snowpaw crouched down, his crouch Better than before but still not perfect, and slowly made his way through the leaves, he was downwind this time, thankfully, and only hand to stop once when his tail brush a stray leaf. The squirrel didn't run off though, and soon he had leapt, chasing it two steps before dragging it to the ground and biting it's neck.

Shadowclaw leaped p from his hiding place where he had been watching and padded over to Snowpaw. "That was great!" He purred enthusiastically.

Shadowclaw nodded. "It truly was a great catch." Then the black tom angled his ears toward a shrew pecking the ground. "Skypaw?" He meowed invitingly.

Skypaw nodded, dropping lie to the ground and letting all of their recent instruction run through his mind. He slunk forward, slipping around the thickest patches of leaves and turning until the shrew was downwind. Slowly, he crept up, until he was within pouncing distance. He leapt and caught the mammal before it know he was there.
