Falling leaf Raven

Snowpaw dropped into a crouch, decently, but a little off balance, and crept through the undergrowth, slowly getting closer and closer to the squirrel. While he was silent, he failed to take in the wind direction, and the squirrel scented him before he was in leaping distance. It sat bolt upright, then raced away. Snowpaw tried to give chase, and clawed a little ways up a tree trunk before sliding back down in defeat.

"Too slow?" Snowpaw offered half heartedly. Skypaw stayed back, approaching a bit to his identical brother but knowing that he would want his interferrance.

Skypaw looked up at the mention of his name, then nodded. He turned, spotted the thrush and crouched down. His crouch was about as balanced as Snowpaw's, but he careful and silently slid around the undergrowth until he was positioned perfectly to make the kill- he glanced at his brother and Shadowclaw. Was about to leap, and right before he did he let his tail swing into a branch, alerting the bird which then took flight. Skypaw leapt, forcing his jump to be clumsy, but still managed to drag the bird down.

Skypaw nodded, quickly burying the thrush before trotting around to join Snowpaw and wait for instructions. Snowpaw stared st him as he approached, but made room for him in the biggest spot in the small clear patch to stand beside each other and wait for instruction.

Skypaw dropped down, taking a moment to adjusting himself and flatten out his paws, until he was nearly perfect, though a little too low. Snowpaw dropped down hurriedly, being off balance and way too low, but showed no signs of adjusting himself.

Snowpaw twitched his ears a bit at the comment to signal he was listening, shuffling a bit to make some changes he thought Shadowclaw might be referring to. Skypaw fidgeted a bit in the wait.
