Riverbreeze watched the two begin to padd out before she called ou. "Hey, Skypaw!" And hurried over to catch them. "Would you mind coming to my den and helping with herbs?"

Skypaw leapt up, ears perking, while his brother stopped to watch him. "Of course!" Skypaw exclaimed. Snow pas raised an eye. "Really? You can say no, her feelings won't be hurt. We're supposed to be training together, remember? Not split up." Skype looked back to his brother, then looked remorsefully at Riverbreeze. "Sorry, Riverbreeze, I'm sure one of the other apprentices could help you. Icepaw doesn't have anything to do right now."

Riverbreeze paused for a moment. She new that for a moment Skypaw would have liked very much to come and help her, but instead his brother and he went hunting. This might be a bit harder than I thought... Riverbreeze turned her head toward Icepaw. Icepaw Agreed rather reluctantly and the two padded to the medicine cats den.

"Now come on!" Snowpaw shouted, "Shadosclaws waiting!" Both toms eagerly raced out of the camp.

Riverbreeze padded out of her den. "I'm going to go and collect herbs!" announced the fluffy medicine cat to no one in particular.
"Do I have to come with you?" asked the small apprentice, Icepaw. "I was really hoping to go hunting or patrolling."
Riverbreeze grinned. "No, Icepaw. Their is no need for me to be accompanied!" and with that, the you medicine cat trotted out of the clearing and into the territory beyond the protected camp.

Fleetstar watched the apprentices leave. "I wonder if Shadowclaw would like to mentor one of those two..." He whispered half to himself. "Riverbreeze looks free. I think I'll go consult her on this matter" and he padded away from his spot on a stone and dipped his head. "Riverbreeze, I'd like too ask you a question."

Riverbreeze trotted in with a fresh bunch of catmint. She set it just inside the hollow tree that made up her den, and stunned around to see Fleetstar padding toward her. "Yes?" She asked.

Fleetstar nodded. "Yes," he began. "I was wondering if Shadowclaw would be a good mentor for one of those two apprentices. And even then, we would still need another mentor for the one that Shadowclaw wouldn't mentor."

Shadowclaw trotted in, the two snow-white apprentices fallowing, each of them carried a piece of prey.

Riverbreeze nodded. "Hmm," she meowed. "Yes, Shadowclaw does seem to be handling the two well, but...well...I don't know..." She finished awkwardly, her tail flicking back and forth over the mossy ground. "I would like to take Skypaw on as my own apprentice, but he seems like his brother would like him to train as a warrior still..."

Fleetstar looked at her, surprise glowing in his eyes. "You would wish to have Skypaw as your apprentice?" Herepeated to her like it was a question. "Well, Has Skypaw shown any interest as a medicine cat?" He asked.

Skypaw followed Snowpaw in after the gathering, both toms trotting and jumping off their paws with excitement. "Oh, wow! That was so cool! It's amazing!" Snowpaw exclaimed. 'I'll never get bored of gatherings! And Silverpaw was so nice, and nobody fought. It was amazing." He rambled on. Skypaw watched his brother fondly, knowing all to well if he spoke it would only prolong the rapid speech. His brother would wear himself out.
