Toxicstar nodded. Then he listed the other cats who would also be going with him to the gathering. (Anyone.) then he swished his long tail as a signal, and pounded out of camp.

Sandyflower trotted into camp, her paws practically dancing. "That was so much fun!" She crowed to her sister, Ravenwish; and the black she cat nodded.
"That was so cool when Toxicstar announced our names to the whole group! It was kinda like when he announced us as apprentices, but this time was way better!"

werps, they were supposed to be sitting vigil. Oh well, I'll just pretend the gathering was the next day! :3) Ravenwish bounced over to Darkdream. "I think you'll be a GREAT deputy!" The young she cat purred. Sandyflower nodded and gave a huge yawn. "I'm going to sleep," She meowed. "then I'll be wide awake for patrols." Then, she headed to the warriors den.

Darkdream lifted her head as Ravenwish approached. "And you'll make a fantastic warrior." She purred, dipping her head. "Now come on, you've got your first night in the warriors den to attend to."

Toxicstar sat upon the great rock and looked out at his clan. I just might sleep out here tonight... He thought.

Sunnyleaf slipped out of his den, quietly setting out his herbs to dry. It wasn't going to rain tonight, so he may as well get started on his work. He wasn't tired anyway. He caught sight of Toxicstar on the ledge, and not sure why he was up there but deciding he probably didn't want to be disturbed, nodded politely before turning back to his work.

Toxicstar spotted Sunnyleaf and he flicked his tail in acknowledgment. Then, the great tom slowly got up and leaped down. He padded over to Sunnyleaf. "Looks like your busy." He commented.

Sunnyleaf smiled. "I was just a little over prepared from last year. I want to make sure none of these leaves go bad, so I'm hoping that freezing them will preserve then longer than drying them out. I haven't tried it before so I'm not using even close to a lot of my stock- this is just a bit of the comfry and marigold, but if it works well have much better luck if another sickness comes along." the Tom realized he was rambling then, and stopped talking.

Sandyflower watched the leader and Sunnyleaf casually.
Ravenwish decided to pad over to the two talking cats. "Need any help with that, Sunnyleaf?" she asked after nodding respectfully to their leader.

Toxicstar nodded back at Ravenwish. "That is very smart!" meowed Toxicstar to Sunnyleaf. "I definitely never would have thought of that!" He joked humorously.

"Well, we can only hope it works." Sunnyleaf offered with a shrug, before turning to Ravenwish as he approached. "Of course." He agreed. "I'll grab some Rosemary from the back, and if you want to start seperating these and laying them out? Be careful not to tear them."

Ravenwish got right to work, her paws picking up one delicate leaf after another and lied them out in the warm, crisp leaf-fall sun.

Sunnyleaf disappeared as came back out with a small amount of the Rosemary. "Thanks for helping." Sunnyleaf said after a moment, setting to work beside her. He continued talking, muttering to himself in a quiet voice.
